Innovative projects – when developed – have the potential to make a real contribution to the advancement of policy and practice for employers, employees and government.

All projects will be developed in partnership with Digit researchers from the Universities of Sussex or Leeds. Ideas for projects can relate to how digital technologies are transforming work at any stage of the policy process from inception to impact, at any level from the global to the local and in any setting, for businesses, unions, governments and/or NGOs and the voluntary sector.

Projects could involve supporting experimental and emerging digital research methods, frontier research on the digitalisation of work, comparative research and/or special events.

Outputs from the work could include a Digit Policy Brief, a Digit academic working paper, or a Digit event, for example.

There will be an annual call for applications in April each year with the take up of awards expected from June onwards.
