Background
I am a Reader in Accounting at Aston University. I am also a Principal Investigator of a project “Understanding workplace democracy through corporate and employee disclosure” funded by the Leverhulme Trust.
In 2019, I organised the ESRC Festival of Social Science Event “#MeToo: A journey towards a harassment-free workplace” for experts in public policy, occupational psychology, law enforcement and technology to discuss how to tackle sexual misconduct at work.
I hold a PhD in Accounting from the Norwegian School of Economics. I previously held visiting positions at the London School of Economics, the Norwegian School of Economics and the University of Wageningen.
