
Dr Emma Hughes is Associate Professor in HRM at the University of Leeds. She has published in journals such as Human Resource Management; Human Resource Management Journal; Work, Employment and Society and Gender, Work and Organization. She has also contributed to wider media outlets and regional/national radio channels. Hughes is Associate Editor of Gender, Work and Organization and Employee Relations, and is editorial board member of Work, Employment and Society.
She is also Co-Investigator on a ESRC funded project examining ‘good work’ and technology in online retail warehouses. The project is part of ESRC’s Transforming Working Lives Programme.
