
Background
I am a Senior Lecturer in Employment Studies at the Alliance Manchester Business School. I am a member of the Work and Equalities Institute and am co-leader of the research theme on inequalities across the life course. I joined Manchester Business School as a lecturer in Human Resource Management in 2005. Prior to that I worked as a research associate in the European Work and Employment Research Centre at the Manchester Business School on a range of projects, including research funded by the ESRC Future of Work Programme and the European Gender Group on Social Inclusion and Employment.
